Not everything can be planned, but you have to try. The participants of the men’s singles main draw knew from the morning that the order of play contains first and second round matches. In order to keep enough energy for the duel deciding about advance to the quarterfinals, they had to treat the first opponent severely.
We have already mentioned Kamil Fabisiak and Tadeusz Kruszelnicki – they managed to win in less than an hour and without dropping a set.
