The art of waiting

Another long day. Although there are fewer matches to be played with each round, the doubles tournament has finally begun. Fifteen pairs entered the competition, so the highest seeded – Geoffrey Jasiak and Tadeusz Kruszelnicki – could return to the hotel earlier or watch their next opponents in action.

Kamil Fabisiak and Piotr Jaroszewski are at bottom end of the draw. Their match against Ervins Kapa (Latvia) and Manojkanth Somasundaram (India) attracted the biggest audience. Such is the privilege of the local players, participants of the world championships and olympians. Waiting for their show took more time than the match itself because a lot of games ended with the score to love. The match too.
